Our Mission

To reveal the real Galicia — its landscapes, traditions, food, people, and stories — through informed, honest, and beautifully crafted content. We aim to make discovering Galicia easier, deeper, and more meaningful for travelers and locals alike. Whether someone is planning their first visit or reconnecting with their roots, we help them experience this region with clarity, respect, and curiosity.

Our Story

We are two people, a Galician and American, who fell in love with each other years ago in Ferrol. We came up with the idea to make a guide to everything Galicia to share the place we both love to the wider world. We currently live in A Coruña, but have traveled extensively around Galicia, getting to know all areas of this magnificent place.

Our Values

Authenticity
We present Galicia as it truly is — not the version shaped for brochures. Real towns, real experiences, real culture.
Respect for Place
We celebrate Galicia’s heritage, environment, and communities, encouraging responsible travel that protects what makes the region special.
Quality & Clarity
Our guides are well-researched, thoughtfully written, and built to be useful.
Local Insight
We highlight the voices, traditions, and businesses that define Galician identity, giving visibility to people and places often overlooked.
Curiosity
Galicia is full of stories — ancient, modern, and unexpected. We explore it with an open mind and a sense of discovery.
Connection
Travel is more meaningful when it connects people with culture. We aim to build a bridge between visitors and Galicia’s unique way of life.
